2024 Grant Recipients

In 2024, we awarded $30,000 in grants to eighteen organizations doing great work close to home. This was our highest amount yet! Thank you to all who applied for a grant and thank you to those who donated to the foundation.


($1,500) Assistance League is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in the Twin Cities. This funding will support basic needs for Richfield students, like school supplies, winter clothes or toiletries.


($2,000) Casa Maria provides groceries, clothing and networking opportunities to the Richfield community. Grant funds will be used to market and publicize the services.


($1,500) Children’s Dental Service provides dental services to low-income families in Richfield. The funding will be used to expand comprehensive dental services to children and families in our community.


($2,000) Crossroads Panorama is a theater group that reaches out to youth and young adults for community building through theater.


($2,000) Funds will be used to support cooking classes for teens and adults.


($500) The group will host a ceremony to honor veterans and current service members.


($2,000) Loaves and Fishes provides healthy meals to Minnesotans. This funding will support operating costs with meals served at the two community meal sites.


($2,000) Oasis for Youth serves youth experiencing homelessness. Funds will support a mobile outreach project.


($1,000) This grant will help purchase winter apparel for public charter school K-7 students and snacks for staff and teacher professional development trainings.


($2,000) People With Capes was created to serve the needs of the people of the City of Richfield. This funding will support the monthly mentorship and community-building meeting called Parent Share that is designed to create a safe place for parents of school-age kids to share, learn, and grow.


($2,000) This group supports outreach to inspire and empower persons with disabilities to advocate for changes to improve equity and inclusivity in Richfield.


($2,000) This grant will support hiring cultural dance performers for Richfield’s Penn Fest, the annual city-wide pedestrian street festival.


($2,000) The funds will help support accessibility and inclusion for the community celebration.


($1,500) The funds from this grant will support a collaborative winter clothing drive to benefit students and families from Richfield Public Schools, Partnership Academy, and Seven Hills Preparatory Academy.


($1,000) Meals on Wheels provides nutritious daily meals for 91 Richfield residents. The funds from this grant will support the increase in costs to provide these meals.


($1,000) Senior Community Services provides services and counseling to help older residents stay independent.


($2,000) Tapestry provides bilingual childcare, meals, academic support, workshops, and community activities to support local immigrants in accessing resources and referrals. The funds will help continue this work.


($2,000) Wood Lake Nature Center will use funds to purchase 22 pairs of Nordic ski boots for school and youth groups.
